Senior Accountant – onsite Athens

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to handle a lot of the accounting, payroll, tax, treasury and management reporting for the Group business. We are looking for someone who is happy getting their hands on lots of different

tasks and aspects of the business.

Are you a Senior Accountant with a Class A license or a similar level or expertise and ideally some exposure to payroll and treasury?

This is a varied role within a growing, fast-paced gaming organization, that reports directly to the CFO, with digital projects going on, business acquisitions, new areas, and a strong focus on international expansion.

Responsibilities:

Treasury/Transactions:

• Implement and manage the payments of Accounts Payable

• Implement and manage the collection of Accounts Receivable and do the necessary communications

Reporting:

• Implement and manage a reporting to aid business decision making.

• Prepare monthly management PnL reports per business and project.

• Prepare on a weekly basis Accounts Receivable reporting

• Maintain transaction cost records to the best extent possible and constantly update the same.• Compare actual results with budgets and forecasts and analyze and report on differences.

Accounting

• Implement and manage the proper invoicing of the Group.

• Coordinating accounting functions and programs, processes and systems, encompassing accounts receivable (AR), accounts payable (AP), financial reporting, and other critical financial functions.

• Coordinate with the external tax accounting office that supports the Group (double entry bookkeeping)

• Implement and manage the B’ Category accounting and tax functions of the Group and for third-party freelancers.

• Accounting reconciliations wherever required and review with an analytical perspective.

• Perform other accounting duties and supporting junior staff as required or assigned.

Payroll

• Supervise the payroll function of the group

• Support the payroll team if needed

Requirements :

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.

• 5+ years of accounting experience, ideally within a tech or gaming company

• Experience in working with Epsilon software

• Fluent Greek and excellent English

• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.

• Strong organizational and stress management skills.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly with Excel.
